International Lawyer
My experience and deep interests:
I am based in: North Carolina
Born in Sao Paulo and raised in Miami, I am a New York-qualified international corporate lawyer with broad experience in global markets, particularly Latin America. I have advised multinational clients on complex legal issues such as bank and asset finance, project finance, capital markets and anti-corruption policy and investigations while at Allen & Overy New York and Jones Day Sao Paulo. Additionally, I have volunteered on numerous pro bono projects, most notably with the Brazil Foundation, the country’s largest philanthropic venture, and the Lawyer’s Collective, a Delhi-based international human rights NGO that provides translated and summarized case law to lawyers worldwide at no cost.
I have a passion for free-form watercolor and oil painting, Ashtanga yoga and meditation. In 2015, I completed a yoga teacher training in Goa, India and freelances as a private yoga instructor to professionals seeking mind and body awareness. Today, I reside in Hong Kong and am working on my first art exhibit at a small gallery during Hong Kong’s Art Basel 2015 fair.
