Andrea Caldwell

Biography

Andrea Caldwell is a fourth year student in the Management PhD, with a focus on Strategy and Entrepreneurship. In particular, she studies strategy formation in early-stage ventures. Her dissertation research comprises a qualitative study of ventures participating in a three-month accelerator program and explores the impact that mentors and advisors have on the strategy formation process. Before joining the PhD program, she worked in marketing strategy at DuPont and in business development at Deloitte. She received undergraduate degrees in Marketing, Spanish, and International Studies from Penn State University and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. Her personal interests include spending time with family and friends, being outside with her yellow lab, going to the gym, and listening to live music.
