Research interests
My research focuses on the management of technological innovation. I am currently exploring open and distributed models of innovation, social networks and innovation, and university-industry collaboration. My research typically involves engagement with policy and practice through collaborative projects with industrial and governmental partners. I have published over 50 peer reviewed articles in academic journals, such as Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Research Policy, Industrial and Corporate Change _and in practice-oriented journals, such as Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan Management Review_ and California Management Review. You can find this work at Google Scholar, Scopus Author Preview and ResearcherID. I am also an Associate Editor of Industrial and Corporate Change and the co-organiser of the DRUID Plenary Debates.
