Alycia Winegardner joined UT’s Department of Accounting and Information Management as a lecturer in the summer of 2016. She received both her Bachelor of Science: Accounting (2006) and Masters of Accountancy: Taxation (2008) from the University of Tennessee and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Tennessee. After practicing as a tax accountant at Crowe Horwath, Alycia transitioned to private industry eventually gaining the position of Chief Financial Officer of a management company in West Knoxville where she was able to obtain extensive experience in both financial and managerial accounting. Alycia teaches Foundations of Accounting and Cost Management and is also the faculty advisor of both Beta Alpha Psi and the AIM Accounting Alliance. Alycia also volunteers her time as a member of the Knoxville Advisory Board for the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley and for Junior Achievement.
