I joined LUBS as a Senior Teaching Fellow in Accounting in 2013, and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2018.

Research interests

I am engaged in scholarship of teaching and learning and present regularly at internal events and national and international conferences on student education topics such as digital learning, teaching innovation, collaborative teaching space use and academic reading. I am a LUBS/Law Transformation Programme Flagship Module Leader, and a Leeds Institute for Teaching Excellence Transformation Fellow.

I was a Teaching Enhancement Project Leader in the Leeds Institute for Teaching Excellence researching Year in Industry with Dr Mark Sumner from the School of Design at Leeds.

I have also conducted accounting and business history research with Professor Steve Toms.
