My research mostly involves in estimating commercial property values. A challenging field due lack of transactions and (unobserved) heterogeneity in commercial real estate. I have published in journals like Real Estate Economics, Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, Regional Science and Urban Economics, and Journal of Portfolio Management. My work is also used in industry. For example; my index methodology is used by Real Capital Analytics to produce over 400 commercial property price indexes world wide. I teach real estate principles and real estate investment at UConn.
