Professor of Business Administration Alan R. Beckenstein is the coordinator of Darden's Global Economies and Markets area. His research and teaching address antitrust and competition policy. He serves as a consultant to government agencies and international corporations. Before joining the Darden faculty in 1972, Beckenstein worked as a research associate at the Brookings Institution and as a management consultant.
