Lorange Institute
Alain Haut is a Professor at UBIS (University of Business and International Studies, Geneva Switzerland) and BSL (Lausanne Switzerland Business School) in international business administration and human resources matters. In addition to that his Visiting Professor at the Kiev Management Institute in the Ukraine, teaching in the DBA program. He holds an MSc in Economics and Social Sciences from the University Notre-Dame de la Paix in Namur, Belgium (now part of the Louvain Management School), complemented by post-graduate studies in Business Administration at the University of Warwick. He is a certified Coach from CMOE (Center for Management and Organisation Effectiveness, USA) and a certified Transition Manager from Transition & Change, France, following the Palto Alto approach to address the systemic nature of human organisations. He is a Senior Associate with MCE-AMA (Management Centre Europe – American Management Association), an Advisory Board Member of Soshigames (social games themed around social causes) and owner of the Swiss license for national and international staffing activities. Since 2008, Alain established O plc (www.oplc.ch), a consultancy offering services in performance, leadership, culture change, and human resources management in general, concentrating on company intercultural issues. Prior to his consulting activity, Alain built an extensive global corporate experience both strategic and operational, mainly in the field of human resources but also in general, project and quality management. Over recent years, Alain has become very involved in the employability of the young generation, more specifically in what business education should should provide as skills to their (post-) graduates.
