    Overview

    Adrian Parry-Jones is an NIHR Clinician Scientist and Senior Lecturer in Vascular Neurology in the Division of Cardiovascular Sciences and is an Honorary Consultant Neurologist at the Greater Manchester Comprehensive Stroke Centre, Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust.

    Biography

    Adrian trained in Medicine at the University of Manchester and undertook clinical training in the North West and London. He was awarded an MRC Clinical Research Training Fellowship to undertake his PhD investigating the role of brain temperature in interleukin-1 mediated ischaemic brain injury. He completed his training in Neurology and Stroke Medicine in the North West and in Melbourne, Australia and commenced his current NIHR Clinician Scientist Award in March 2015.
