Adam McNeill
Instructor - Social Media Strategy at Western University at Western Ontario University
Biography
Western Ontario University
Adam McNeill loves working with professionals in collaborative, learning-based environments where we can tell stories that matter and share experiences in order to better understand how we communicate with diverse audiences online.
Before graduating from Western’s Media, Information and Technoculture program, Adam was a decorated international rowing coxswain, had an early start in communications and strategic thinking. Later, after earning a college diploma in web foundations, he entered the world of digital marketing - a relatively new discipline at the time. Social media was emerging as a reality, with most brands being either too afraid to embrace it, or altogether doubting its ability to be monetized, treating it exclusively as an advertising channel. Fifteen years later, social media has become a key consideration - central to the curricula of the advertising and brand management students he has taught.
