Biography

GIBS Business School

Zukiswa is a leadership and organizational development consultant working across the private, for benefit, and education sectors. My work is informed by a fundamental belief that leaders must be developed and prepared for the specific places, people, systems, and competitive environments within which they lead to fully thrive- essentially, contextual leadership. I am expertly at facilitating and supporting leaders’ learning in diverse topics including personal leadership; growing sustainable innovative cultures; leading diverse teams; employee engagement; and entrepreneurship

My own learning journey spans the life insurance, and banking sectors. In the latter, I have worked in Human Resources, heading up Talent Management for a Corporate and Investment Bank. Thereafter, I led strategic initiatives on client service improvement as an Executive Assistant in the office of the Executive Head of Corporate Banking, before leaving corporate sector to pursue my calling in education. In the education sector, I traverse higher education as Part-Time Faculty at the Gordon Institute of Business Science; an independent academic advisor for Masters research; an accreditation consultant (national accreditation of postgraduate programmes), and basic education where I currently lead the pilot for a school principals development programme in Gauteng. As a consultant and facilitator, I support executive and senior leadership teams in strategy, organizational culture, organizational change, and building cultures of innovation. I serve as a coach and facilitator for early stage, and expanding entrepreneurs in their personal leadership development journeys to effectively steward the growth of their enterprise.
