Biography

Stephen M. Ross School of Business

I’m a rising 5th-year MD/PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Michigan — Ann Arbor. My fields are behavioral and experimental economics, industrial organization (IO), microeconomic theory, and labor. I graduated with Honors from Columbia University in 2018, where I received a BA in Economics-Mathematics, Biochemistry, and Classics.

My research interests are grounded in the everyday realities of patient experiences.

My economics research explores how intersections of behavioral economics and IO can reframe how we understand the role of information in decision-making.

My policy research focuses on legislation and reform transforming healthcare, including reproductive healthcare, payment reform, and the COVID-19 pandemic.

My clinical research investigates patient and provider decision-making as well as novel methods for the evaluation and improvement of diagnostics and therapeutics.

In addition to research and clinical practice, I am an avid Spikeball/tennis/squash player (not the acorn variety) and NYT crossword puzzler (barring Sundays). When off the courts, I can usually be found at a café (boba counts!) trying some new, overpriced, untraditionally-flavored latte, pen in hand. Newfound methods for procrastination include bullet chess and skateboarding.
