Zara Worth

Freelance Artist - Research Support and Impact Administrator at London College of Fashion

Biography

London College of Fashion

Consistent and dependable, as demonstrated by an excellent academic transcript, having recently completed a Masters in Contemporary Art Theory at Goldsmiths, University of London, prior to my postgraduate studies I received a First Class (83.5%) BA(Hons) in Fine Art from Northumbria University. Hard-work, professionalism, versatility and exceptional time-management enabled the completion of a ten month internship between Degrees whilst also working at MIMA, Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, Harrogate Galleries and in retail; always meeting deadlines and approaching all tasks with verve and creativity. These roles helped develop excellent verbal and written communication skills, lateral thinking, team-working and leadership qualities, applied throughout writing over twenty articles for arts publications (2012-15) and curating and exhibiting in over twenty exhibitions (2010-15). Extremely passionate about art, craft and design, am naturally organised, allowing me to pursue my various interests alongside work and study: enjoying pilates, running and knitting… not at the same time(!); have continued to practice art, exhibit and write since leaving University; and recently wrote a series of haikus in response to living in New Cross, London.
