Biography
From 2008-2009, Hwang served as visiting professor at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. He was ranked as one of the top 50 productive researchers in the world in 2005-2008 based on the top six Information Systems journal counts. He has published more than 65 refereed journal articles, and has been published in the Journal of Management Information Systems and the European Journal of Information Systems. He is an associate editor of the European Journal of Information Systems, Behaviour & Information Technology and the Journal of Electronic Commerce Research. In 2013, Hwang served as the program co-chair of the Americas Conference on Information Systems. His research has also received more than 4,000 Google Scholar citations.
