Professor Paik''s research focuses on entrepreneurship, innovation, corporate strategy, global strategy and how they are interrelated with institutions and public policies. He serves as a referee for numerous academic journals in strategy, management, and economics. Professor Paik joined Olin in 2015. Prior to joining Olin, he was an assistant professor at the Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California (USC). He completed his PhD in Economics at the University of California Berkeley. Prior to his PhD, he worked as a patent attorney in one of the largest law firms in South Korea, Kim & Chang, serving multinational corporations as well as small and medium-sized entrepreneurial companies.
