As an Assistant Professor, Clinical Practitioner, and Social Science Researcher with 18+ years’ experience, I am passionate about being part of a system that focuses on team-based education, patient care, and community service for local and global impact.

☑ EDUCATOR: I am committed to innovation through course instruction, program development, and research. My passion is to instill intellectual curiosity and develop personal/professional responsibility through classroom and clinical experience.

☑ RESEARCHER: I have had the honor of presenting my work on Type 2 Diabetes at numerous conferences. I am compelled to utilize my research to provide education, knowledge, and comfort to individuals living with chronic illness.

☑ PRACTITIONER: I bring 10+ years’ experience to the teaching profession, having held 6 different physician assistant positons and served as a registered nurse for 3+ years.
