Ylva Lindberg

Biography

Ylva is the founder and managing director of SIGLA, a boutique consultancy on the role of business in society. She works with listed and state owned companies in identifying risks and opportunities arising from social and environmental challenges, including on leadership programmes, strategy and innovation. Ylva has fifteen years business experience, including as a consultant with McKinsey & Company, marketing manager at Orkla, and equity analyst at KLP Asset Management. Her expertise is in strategy, corporate responsibility and marketing in Scandinavia and Russia. Ylva has a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford and speaks Russian and English fluently, in addition to her native Norwegian and Swedish. She is a frequent speaker and facilitator in both national and international conferences. Ylva is a member of the Council on Ethics for the Norwegian Government Pension Fund Global, one of the world's largest investment funds. She is also a board member of WWF-Norway.
