Ying (Maggie) Zhang

Maggie Zhang is an Assistant Professor of Management in Clemson College of Business. Before joining Clemson, Maggie obtains her Ph.D. in Operations from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and her Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Tsinghua University. Her research lies in the area of Operations and Supply Chain Management. Specifically, her work focuses on emerging market operations with an emphasis on agriculture operations and global supply chain management. Her research interests also include food supply chain, socially responsible operations and sustainable operations. Maggie's current work focuses on the application of scientific planting methods and farming mechanization to improve agricultural productivity in emerging countries such as Sub-Sahara African countries.
