Yen Yen Wu is a registered Architect in Singapore, founding Director of Genome Architects, a practice with a portfolio of diverse local private and several key public projects, premised on approaching design through understanding natural systems and conveying thinking processes through the design of built environments. The practice has received design awards from the Singapore Institute of Architects.
Yen Yen graduated from Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP) with a Master of Architecture, where she received an Honor Award for Excellence in Design. Her undergraduate degree was from National University of Singapore.
Yen Yen has showcased her work at and spoken as invited panelist at Archifest events, Board of Architects seminar, NUS Construe and Construct Speaker Series and at the Singapore Institute of Architects: Paper Architecture: Unbuilt Dreams. She has published numerous articles in design publications and has been teaching at the Department of Architecture since 2009.
