EXPERTISE/RESEARCH INTERESTS
Xuan Ye’s primary research interests lie at the intersection of IS and economics (particularly labor economics, organizational economics and urban economics). In her dissertation, she develops new, detailed measures of companies’ management practices by collecting novel data and employing state-of-the-art analysis techniques on these data sets. She studies how modern firms use non-monetary compensation to incentivize and attract high-skilled technical employees.
