Biography
UCL School of Management
I am an Assistant Professor of Decision, Operations and Information Technologies in the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park. Prior to joining the school, I received my Ph.D. in Management Science and Operations from UCL School of Management, supervised by Professor Bert De Reyck.
My research interests include Business Analytics, Probabilistic Forecasts, Machine Learning and Combining Forecasts. My current research is mainly devoted to the following areas: (1) new forecasting methods that can produce better distributional forecasts, (2) aggregation of experts’ opinions to make more accurate forecasts, and (3) practical implementation of predictive analytics and data science to support decision making.
