Velma Lee Chen is an associate professor of leadership and management at Palm Beach Atlantic University in Florida. She worked for GE healthcare, Pepsi Cola Inc., and Human Resources consulting before joining academia. She earned her degrees from University of Oregon and University of Birmingham (UK). Before moving to the sunshine state in 2011, Velma taught leadership, ethics, and global business subjects in both East and West Coast public and private universities, as well as at the University of Hong Kong. Her current research focus is on sustainability, agribusiness, technology, and ethics.
