  • Led curriculum updates to the pilot of the core Western Civilization survey course; supervised 18 faculty in teaching and evaluating over 750 students.
  • Taught core Western Civilization and Russian/Soviet history survey courses to 20 classes of 15 students and a semester elective on Imperial and Soviet History.
  • Taught a senior colloquium course and supervised 8 history majors researching topics in Russian and Soviet military history for their theses, one of whom won a top department award for his work on the Soviet Army in Afghanistan.
