Biography
Jones Graduate School of Business
Tommy Pan Fang is an assistant professor of strategic management in the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University. His research interests lie in the intersection of strategic management, the economics of digitization and entrepreneurship. Fang's recent research has examined how digital platforms can sustain long-term growth and how digitization has impacted firms' organization, strategic choices and performance. His work has appeared in print or is forthcoming in Strategic Management Journal and Academy of Management Annals. He received a Ph.D. in business administration from Harvard Business School and B.Sc. degrees in economics and computer science from the University of Pennsylvania.
