Todd Kravet, associate professor of accounting, comes to UConn from Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas, where he has taught since 2009. He earned his Ph.D. in accounting from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington. His research interests include: mergers and acquisitions, economic consequences of financial reporting, and measuring accounting quality. His research has been published in leading journals such as Journal of Accounting and Economics, Review of Accounting Studies, and Contemporary Accounting Research. He serves on the Editorial Board of Accounting Horizons. Professor Kravet is a also a CPA and worked in public accounting prior to his academic career.
