Tim Kelly founded JMC Advisors LLC to help ultra-high net worth families effectively extend their legacies. With 30 years of family office experience and an extensive family office network, he collaborates with families to solve the multi-faceted challenges of managing generational wealth.

An industry thought leader, Tim brings perspective and objectivity on a broad range of family office matters, including setting up new offices, establishing legal structures, accounting and reporting processes, managing investment portfolios, and optimizing taxes through income and wealth transfer planning. He is the trusted advisor you can count on to address your family office issues.

In addition to his family office roles, Tim chairs the Family Office Network (FON), one of the nation’s most respected, private membership organizations for single family office senior executives. He co-founded FON to share resources and best practices among professionals who work in some of the world’s most elite family offices. Tim also serves as an ambassador to the FORGE Community, a national network of family offices. He is an Adjunct Lecturer in the Center for Family Enterprises and a Co-Academic director of Single Family Office Executive Education, Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Over the years, Tim has served as a Board member on several direct private equity investments and on the Northern Trust Client Advisory Board

Tim’s credentials include an MBA from Kellogg School of Management and a BBA, Magna Cum Laude, from Loyola University. He began his career in public accounting at Arthur Andersen working with closely held, owner- operated businesses. Tim remains a registered CPA.
