Biography

Hyper Island

Tim is a consultant, speaker and facilitator in the fields of Human Centric Innovation, Design Thinking, Digital Transformation & Consumer Anthropology. As well as leading strategy, innovation and intrapreneurship projects in Latin America, Europe and the U.S. he is also a researcher and university lecturer in the areas of UX, Behavioural Economics, Communication, Media, Sociology and Anthropology. During this time, he worked as a facilitator and consultant with many brands (Unilever, Bayer, Nike, BBC, Guardian, Banco Itaú, Red Bull, Reckitt Benckiser, US Bank, Philips, TUI) as well as leading academic and commercial research studies across various sectors. His specialisms include development of human-centric approaches to product and communication design and development.
Tim has lectured and participated in international events on various themes on subjects such as youth culture, digital and social media and consumer behaviour. He has also written and presented across different media for both Brazilian and international audiences including Meio e Mensagem (Brasil) and Contagious (UK). He is Founder and CEO of The Listening Agency in São Paulo and Chief Strategy Officer at Gume - Influence and Engagement and Professor in communications at FAAP in Sao Paulo.
