Teaching Statement

Thomas Layton co-teaches Innovation and Non-founder CEO’s with Andy Rachleff. Thomas’s goal in teaching is to expose students to real-world issues and challenges they will face as senior leaders in rapidly growing companies.

Bio

Thomas has a long history of successful business leadership, having served as CEO at both OpenTable and Metaweb (acquired by Google in 2010), and having co-founded CitySearch. He is currently a board member for Upwork, ezhome, and Doxo. Additionally, he founded the non-profit organization, MapLight.org.

Thomas is a Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute, and he holds an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University and a BS from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
