Bio
Dr. Thomas Dallam is a human resources executive with more than 20 years of experience and a demonstrated track record of effectively leading HR functions and driving business results.
He is currently the Chief Human Resources Officer at Hilltop Holdings Inc., a publicly traded financial holding company with four lines of business (PlainsCapital Bank, PrimeLending mortgage, Hilltop Securities, and National Lloyds Insurance Company). Prior to Hilltop, Dr. Dallam served as an HR executive at several companies including Capital One and DFW International Airport.
Throughout his career, Dr. Dallam has delivered strategic impact to the business through designing and implementing selection and assessment processes, strategic workforce planning, executive incentive plans, employee and executive retirement plans, leadership competency models, leadership development programs, and performance management.
He earned his Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Virginia Tech University, and holds several certifications including SPHR, change management and executive coaching. He received the Leaders Leading Leaders award in 2012 and was the Silver Medalist for HR Executive of the Year in 2013.
