Tempris Daniels

Tempris Daniels is the Associate Director of the Evening Master’s Program at the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy. In this role at Harris, she leads in the development and implementation of orientation programming for incoming students, graduation processes and activities for graduating students, student life activities that foster student communities. Tempris also serves as a Sexual Assault Dean-on-Call at the University, serving as an official emotional administrative support to students who are survivors of gender-based violence.

Prior to joining Harris, Tempris served as the Student Involvement Advisor in the Center for Leadership and Involvement at the University, overseeing 60 student organizations, facilitated a year-long programming schedule, advised student staff, negotiated contracts, and managed the Center’s website and social media platforms. Her professional development home is the American College Personnel Association (ACPA), which transforms higher education by creating and sharing influential scholarship, shaping critically reflective practice, and advocating for equitable and inclusive learning environments. She currently serves on the Commission for Student Involvement (CSI) Leadership Team within ACPA as the Vice-Chair of Assessment and Research.

Tempris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Religion from Augustana College and a Masters in Higher Education from Loyola University Chicago.
