Bio
Tanjim Hossain is an Associate Professor of Marketing in the Department of Management at the University of Toronto Mississauga, with a cross-appointment to the Marketing Area at Rotman. His main research interests include behavioural economics and industrial organization, especially using field and laboratory experiments to test the validity of theoretical predictions in the real world. His research has been published in
American Economic Review, Management Science, Quarterly Journal of Economics, and RAND Journal of Economics, and has been featured in The Economist, USA Today, and other news outlets. He has received multiple awards for excellence in refereeing and serves on the editorial board of Journal of Economic Feelings.
