Tamara Lambert joined the Department of Accounting at Lehigh University in 2013. Her research interests include judgment and decision making in auditing and accounting contexts, audit-related regulation, the audit review process, audit quality, financial reporting fraud, and auditor litigation. Her research highlights include publications in Journal of Accounting Research, Auditing: A Journal of Practice & Theory, and Accounting, Organizations and Society and she has presented her research at multiple national and international conferences. She was recipient of the 2011 AAA Auditing Mid-Year-Meeting Best Paper Award, the 2012 Isenberg School of Management Outstanding Researcher Award, and the 2014 and 2015 Charlotte and Robert Brown Research Fellow, Lehigh University. She is on the editorial boards of Auditing: A Journal of Practice & Theory, Behavioral Research in Accounting, and Issues in Accounting Education and an editor of the AAA Auditing Section Newsletter.
Professor Lambert’s teaching interests are in financial accounting and auditing and she received the 2007-2008 Lebow College Outstanding Ph.D. Student Instructor award. She worked as an auditor for Deloitte from 2001-2004 and is a licensed CPA in the state of Pennsylvania (inactive).
