Biography

Dr. Swati Kanoria is an associate principal in the Finance Practice where she has worked on market manipulation and antitrust cases.

Prior to joining CRA, Dr. Kanoria was a visiting scholar at the NYU Stern School of Business during the final year of her PhD. She completed her PhD in Finance at the Warwick Business School in the UK, where her research focused on empirical corporate governance and applied theory in banking. At Warwick, Swati taught masters’ and undergraduate courses related to corporate finance. Her research papers include “Monitoring by Activist Hedge Funds and Long-Term CEO Incentives” and “Incentives for Bankers to Reveal Risk”.
