Presentation

My great interest is the role of language in communication, more specifically the importance of our mother tongue in an intercultural communication encounter. In my research my main focus is the comprehension of English texts by non-native speakers within the world of business. My research is part of the Global English Business Communication Project, which investigates the word association, text comprehension and text production (speech acts) of Carlsberg employees in Denmark, England, Russia, China, Japan and Spain.
