Steven R. Tahan, MD, FCAP is an Associate Professor of Pathology at Harvard Medical School, Program Director of the BIDMC-Harvard Hospitals Dermatopathology Fellowship, and Director of Dermatopathology and Associate Pathologist in the Department of Pathology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, MA.
He received his undergraduate A.B. degree from Harvard College, M.D. from Yale University School of Medicine, Anatomic and Clinical Pathology training at Yale-New Haven Hospital and New England Deaconess Hospital, and Dermatopathology specialty training at Massachusetts General Hospital.
In addition to active responsibilities in diagnostic Dermatopathology and Surgical Pathology, Dr. Tahan has been an active participant in national and international Pathology educational courses, workshops, and seminars. He also oversees an active research program in human cutaneous oncology.
American Board of Pathology Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
