Thunderbird School of Global Management
Founder of The Center for Professional Development, a think tank and developer of training and executive education programs targeted to professionals, e.g., physicians, attorneys, architects, dentists, and non profit executives who are well trained in their professions, but who often face challenges with the “business” issues facing their practices and organizations. Dr. Stralser's MBA in a DAY® program has been presented to diverse audiences, such as The Chicago Medical Society, The Society of Gynecologic Oncologists, The American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, The Annual Meeting of the Mensa Society, American Express Financial Services, Maricopa County Bar Association, Association of Legal Administrators, Non Profit Management Solutions and The Volunteer Center of Orange County. Based on his experience in the MBA classroom, Dr. Stralser's best-seller book MBA in a DAY: What you would learn at top-tier business schools—(if only you had the time!) is published by John Wiley & Sons and has been translated into eight languages. At Thunderbird School of Global Management, Dr. Stralser was Founding Academic Director and program architect for Project Artemis, (http://bit.ly/14iozII) the ground-breaking initiative to train, educate and mentor women from emerging and re-emerging countries in entrepreneurship, and to give them the tools to achieve economic self-sufficiency. Project Artemis served as a proof of concept program model and prototype for Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women.
