Steve Robinson is an expert in brand and product management, strategy, shopper marketing, and profit and loss management with more than 20 years of experience at Procter & Gamble (14 years), Abbott Nutrition, and IBM Consulting. Steve has experience leading and running some of the world’s largest brands including Pampers, Crest, and Ensure, and he had assignments on the Walmart and Target customer teams. He has extensive global experience with P&G, where he led global innovation and new products for Crest Pro-Health and was the marketing director in Guangzhou, China, where he led the marketing, innovation, and sales teams for Crest and Oral-B across China, Taiwan, and Hong-Kong.

Steve’s unique approach to running a business includes applying a disciplined approach tounderstanding the key business drivers (awareness, trial, repeat) of sales. The skills and experiences that Steve learned at P&G combined with a focus on fewer activities has led to successful business results and frequent requests to help train others. Steve developed and led segments of P&G’s Brand Management University and helped lead the creation of the Abbott Nutrition Marketing University.

Steve is the president and founder of Brand KBD, LLC, a brand marketing and strategy consulting and training firm. Steve’s clients have included billion-dollar brands and startups, and Fortune 200 clients.

Steve has a BSBA in marketing from the Fisher College of Business at Ohio State, an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, and he recently completed a certificate in digital marketing from the Johnson School of Management at Cornell University.
