Steve Brown

I am a registered Psychologist with a masters degree and PhD in Organisational Psychology. My current role includes responsibility for the strategic direction of Executive Education and the establishment of initiatives that link directly to the strategy, and also support the interests of the joint venture partners, the Australian Institute of Management Western Australia, and the University of Western Australia.

I am responsible for the management of the day to day operations and direction of Executive Education, including working with local, national, and international partners to deliver high quality professional development opportunities to individuals in corporate, government, and NFP organisations.

I also specialised in cognitive and behavioural approaches to approaches workplace health and safety, and the psychological well-being of employees of all organisational levels. I am a skilled facilitator and leadership coach who is competent in the use of psychometric assessments.

I have experience as a front-line employee, manager, researcher, academic, and teacher. My key areas of interest are leadership and organisational development, employee well-being, and the relationships between these factors, with a view to advancing the well-being of individuals, teams and departments, thereby increasing job satisfaction and improving overall organisational performance.
