Dr. Koernig is an Associate Dean in DePaul University's Driehaus College of Business. In this role, he oversees course and program development of the undergraduate program and coordinates the continuous improvement of the undergraduate curriculum. He also oversees the College's undergraduate and graduate online programs and advocates for continuous improvement of online delivery.
In addition to his administrative duties, he also teaches Social Media Marketing, Strategic Marketing Tools, and Consumer Behavior courses. Steve's academic research focuses on social media marketing, e-commerce, and marketing education. His research has been published in leading academic journals including the Journal of Advertising, Psychology & Marketing, and the Journal of Marketing Education. He received his M.B.A. from DePaul University and has a Ph.D. in marketing from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
