Stephen Gregory Barr is currently Vice President, Business Development at Univision Communications, Inc. - the global Spanish TV | Cable network reaching 110 million subscribers across North America, LATAM and Europe.
His career experience includes rebuilding/managing integrated sales and marketing organizations, developing operational infrastructures, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), relaunching channels and product innovation. Additional expertise includes multi & omnicultural strategies, financial budgeting & analysis, sales forecasting, business development across TV|OTT|AVOD, radio, digital, print, social and experiential.
Within the nonprofit sector, Stephen serves as a Board Director for True Diversity - a mission driven startup that engages companies to create inclusive environments and develop hiring practices to attract diverse talent; and NEKI - an online philanthropy platform for individuals and organizations to support their favorite charities, social causes and raise awareness.
Stephen received his B.A. from Morehouse College; M.Sc. from New York University; and M.B.A. from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Stephen is currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Public Service at NYU's Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, and also teaches at the NYU Stern School of Business.
