Stephan Romeike

Dr. Stephan Romeike has a long and varied work experience. In 2009, they began as an Intern Research & Portfolio Design at DJE Kapital AG. Dr. Stephan then interned at MAN Truck & Bus SE as an Intern Inhouse Consulting in 2011, and at pwc as an Intern Valuation & Strategy in the same year. In 2012, they became an Intern Management Consulting at goetzpartners. From 2013 to 2017, they were a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting.

During this time, they were also a Research Assistant at Technische Universität München, where they were a doctoral candidate in the field of blockchain technology with a focus on start-up financing through token sales and use cases for blockchain technology in finance & accounting. In 2021, they became Co-Founder and Coordinator Crypto Custody Working Group at the European Blockchain Association e.V., and Chief Operating Officer at Immutable Insight. In 2022, they will become a Lecturer at Technische Universität München.

Dr. Stephan Romeike has an extensive education history. Dr. Stephan obtained their Dr. rer. pol. from the Technical University of Munich in 2021, after having been a Visiting Researcher at The University of Queensland in 2020. Dr. Stephan obtained their Diplom-Kaufmann from the Technical University of Munich in 2012, after having spent a semester abroad at the Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), Thammasat University in 2009-2010.
