Frankfurt School of Finance & Management
Stefan Kassberger studied business mathematics and economics at the Universities of Ulm and St. Gallen. After graduating in business mathematics, he pursued a PhD in Financial Mathematics at the London School of Economics. Following the successful completion of his PhD, he was Visiting Scholar at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Postdoctoral Researcher at Ulm University (funded by a scholarship of the German Research Foundation) and Lecturer in Financial Mathematics, also at Ulm University. Stefan Kassberger has served as a consultant to leading banks and insurers. Before joining Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, he spent several years in the banking industry where he held various positions, including Head of Analytics.
His research interests include mathematical and computational finance, machine learning, algorithmic trading, robo advisory and quantitative portfolio management.
