Management School ESSCA

A graduate of IAE Lyon 3 and EM Lyon, Sonia has a PhD in Management Science from the University of Angers and also has professional experience in management control and quality management.

Since 2009, she has taught several courses at various institutions (universities, business schools, engineering schools). She teaches organizational strategy and management, international accounting and management control, and management data analysis.

As part of her teaching activity, Sonia develops and tests interactive learning tools. As part of its “Corporate Strategy” course for Master students, she has set up a case study construction workshop, the results of which were presented at a seminar held at the end of this course.

Her research areas focus on collective strategies, business models and innovation as well as corporate social responsibility (CSR).

Since 2014, Sonia has focused on investigating the Chinese field. She is particularly interested in the emergence of CSR in China and the study of the impacts of digital transformations on business models.

In addition, she studies, tests and writes case studies, especially concerning China and in various sectors (Taxi VTC industry, E-commerce and B-to-B technology, automotive industry, etc.).

Her research has been presented at international conferences and she recently published an article in the journal Question(s) de Management.
