Indian Institute of Technology Delhi Department of Management Studies

Dr.Smita Kashiramka is an Associate Professor in the area of Finance at the Department of Management Studies, IIT Delhi. She holds a Ph.D from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, Pilani Campus, in the area of Mergers and Acquisitions. She has more than fourteen years of academic and research experience. Her areas of teaching interest include Financial Institutions and Markets, Banking and Mergers & Acquisitions. She has been invited for guest lecture by several eminent institutions including Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi, IIM Raipur, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun. She has also conducted training programmes for national and international participants from both the government and private sector.

She has published papers in several international and national journals of repute including those listed in Australian Business Deans Council list, Scopus and ABS Journal Quality List. She has also presented several papers in international peer reviewed conferences.

Dr. Smita has worked on several research projects funded by organizations of international and national repute including Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India and Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India. She has also organized and conducted training programmes for International participants as well as government institutions including Airports Authority of India.
