Simon is an experienced consultant and coach who helps senior managers with various challenges related to the theme of “organisational and individual change”. He supports leadership teams and senior managers in their effort to understand and use the (often hidden) dynamics in which they are operating on a daily basis.

Simon works with clients and their teams on the realisation of cost-effective, lasting (behavioural) change – for instance during mergers, take-overs, developments of new strategies or innovative concepts, the re-designing of governance models and business processes or the analysis and implementation of new regulations. He performs on the border area of business economy, business administration and psychology. He uses his experience of over twenty years as an advisor and leader.

Having had university training in business economics and business administration (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Netherlands), he has, since the nineties, been working with the question of how organisations, groups and individuals deal with the issue of “change”. Simon has a diploma in clinical organisational psychology (cum laude) and an executive master's degree in Coaching and Consulting for Change (INSEAD). He took part in additional various executive education programs (INSEAD and Harvard).

Simon worked for KPMG over a total of 15 years, of which 11 were spent as an equity partner. Prior to his work with KPMG, Simon worked as an associate professor of strategy and organisational sciences. In his early youth, he was a soccer-player for Ajax and after that for AZ’67.

Simon is married to Marianne and together they have three children: Jesper, Isabel and Julian.
