Shoeb Mohammad is in Assistant Professor of Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship. He received a PhD in Strategic Management from the Schulich School of Business at York University, a MSc in Business Economics from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University, and a BBA in management from the University of Toronto. Before embarking on his academic career, Shoeb worked as a management consultant for Deloitte’s Private Company Services, advising small to midsize new ventures on strategic planning and technology implementations.

Shoeb’s research examines corruption, unethical behaviour, and social responsibility. Current topics include the implications of the institutional environment of emerging markets on the unethical behavior of firms, how corruption in emerging markets affects entrepreneurship and innovation, and community engagement and sustainability in project management. Shoeb's research has been published or is forthcoming in Business Ethics, Environment, and Responsibility, Journal of Business Venturing Insights, and International Journal of Project Management. His research has also appeared in the Academy of Management conference in its best paper proceedings and as a nominee for the best business ethics paper award.
