Biography

Dr. Shaun V. Ault is a Professor and Head of the Department of Mathematics at Valdosta State University. Dr. Ault completed his PhD at The Ohio State University (2008) and then taught at Fordham University in Bronx, NY (2008-2012), subsequently joining the mathematics faculty at Valdosta State University in 2012. Dr. Ault has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Mathematics with a Computer Science minor from Oberlin College, and a Bachelor of Music (BMus) in Music Composition from the Oberlin Conservatory. His research interests are varied, including algebraic topology, enumerative combinatorics, mathematical computation, and topological data analysis.
