Lecturer Shashi Kiran is a thinker, learner, and big believer in data. He is a seasoned analytics professional with more than a decade of experience working in several Silicon Valley based companies such as Cisco, Symantec, Veritas and SanDisk (now Western Digital) and has held various key roles spanning Business and IT. Kiran has provided thought leadership to business operations functions and helped create an environment for data driven decisions. He has presented data analytics to stakeholders in preparation for road-mapping on analytics journey. Kiran is a coach, mentor and helped lots of incoming professionals to get established in Data and Analytics space. He has also helped organizations build analytics center of excellence, implemented Cloud BI strategy and set up visualization and adoption guidelines to ensure that work is being rewarded properly. Kiran has been in a management role for more than eight years and he has inspired teams to take risk and manage through ambiguities. Kiran holds a Bachelors of Engineering from BIT Mesra, Ranchi, India in Mechanical Engineering and Post Graduation Diploma in Industrial Engineering from NITIE, Mumbai India.
