Sharon McIntyre
Biography
Sharon M. McIntyre is a senior global marketing and innovation strategist and speaker, with more than 25 years of experience and deep roots in the energy, technology, education and startup sectors. She is an adjunct marketing professor, curriculum developer, and doctoral candidate researching the emergence of a new entrepreneurial innovation model. Sharon is co-founder of New Cottage Industries & Co., helping people and organizations to grow their creative capacity, master practical innovation methods, and deliver remarkable projects with excellence.
Sharon has held senior leadership positions and consulted in a variety of domains including software, oil & gas, electricity, telecommunications, housing, publishing, and the arts. Sharon consults as Chief Social Scientist to the leadership team at Chaordix, an open innovation technology and methodology pioneer in the participation marketing and co-creation space; Chaordix clients include The LEGO Group, IBM, HSBC, Ford and KPMG. She was Senior Marketing Advisor at Schlumberger for their global software division, and lead consultant to the Cameroon, West Africa energy utility company, Eneo, with a scope encompassing frugal innovation and technology marketing mentorship. She has lived and worked internationally, communicates in English and French, and holds dual Canadian and Irish (EU) citizenship. Sharon contributes online as @shazzmack.
