Sharon McMillen Cannon teaches written and oral management communication.

She includes intercultural communication simulations and activities in many of her courses to help build awareness of how cultural differences can have an impact on communication in a business setting. She is certified to use and debrief individuals and teams with the GlobeSmart Profile (Aperian Global), the Cultural Orientations Indicator (TMC) and Intercultural Edge.

Prior to coming to UNC Kenan-Flagler, Dr. Cannon taught management communication at the Olin Business School, Washington University in St. Louis, where she also founded and directed the Management Communication Lab, a resource for all Olin business students. ### Areas of Expertise
